Work on the System-wide Sewer Rehabilitation projects in Winston-Salem will lead to temporary street closures. Starting Monday, June 2, certain streets will be closed on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The affected streets include Georgia Avenue between Springdale and Halcyon avenues, Old Salem Road between Academy and Walnut streets, and The Bent Tree Farm Road circle between Beechridge and Bent Tree Farm roads. This work is expected to conclude by Friday, June 6, weather permitting.

The contractor managing the project will handle all traffic control measures. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and consider alternative routes.
