Work on Winston-Salem’s system-wide sewer rehabilitation project will continue next week, resulting in temporary weekday street closures. According to city officials, a contractor will close Middleton Street between Starlight and Battery drives, as well as Harvey Street between Olive and Stark streets. The closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Monday, Aug. 11.
The work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Aug. 15, depending on weather conditions. The contractor will manage all traffic control during the project period.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas and plan alternate routes while the work is underway.
