West Forsyth High School standout Zach Lewis’ college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, March 11

On Tuesday, March 11, former West Forsyth High School standout Zach Lewis’ current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charlotte 49ers.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Texas State Bobcats.
