On Tuesday, March 4, former East Forsyth High School standout Ethan Norby’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 11-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.

The game took place at Segra Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Runnin’ Bulldogs this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 4 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
