On Tuesday, April 1, former West Forsyth High School standout Abby Hunter’s current college team, the Tusculum Pioneers, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mars Hill Lions.
The game took place at Ponder Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3 p.m. at Ponder Field against Mars Hill Lions.
On Friday, January 9, the 1800 block of Polo Road between Rosedale Circle and Harmon Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A contractor will carry out tree removal during this time.
