Effective March 19, a new traffic pattern will be implemented on Old Salem Road in Winston-Salem. The changes include the permanent closure of a section of Old Salem Road, with realignment onto Brookstown Avenue to improve traffic flow. Specifically, the northbound lanes that merge onto Brookstown Avenue and Main Street will be closed permanently.

Motorists are encouraged to follow updates on the City of Winston-Salem’s social media channels and allow extra time to adjust to the new traffic configuration.
