Sylvia Green, the Chief Marketing Officer for Wake Forest University School of Business, has been ranked No. 10 on Women We Admire’s list of the “Top 50 Women Chief Marketing Officers of 2025.” This annual ranking recognizes C-suite leaders who significantly influence strategy and growth while adapting to the digital landscape.

Green is a seasoned marketing executive with over 30 years of experience in marketing, branding, and consumer engagement. Since 2008, she has led brand strategy, marketing, communications, and enrollment at Wake Forest University School of Business. Her efforts have helped position the school as a leader in developing values-driven business professionals.

Earlier in her career, Green was the youngest woman elected to the Unlimited Racing Commission Board of Directors. She also served as Vice President of Seattle’s SEAFAIR festival, where she managed large civic celebrations and secured national sponsorships.

In addition to her professional work, Green is an advocate for the arts and community enrichment. She is a founding board member and current Chair of Art for Art’s Sake (AFAS), a nonprofit that has raised over $6 million for public art spaces and community programs in Winston-Salem.
