Strickland Avenue in Winston-Salem is scheduled to be closed to through traffic between Main Street and Konnoak Drive on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., starting Wednesday, April 16. The closure is part of water system improvements and is expected to be completed by Thursday, April 17, weather permitting.

Detours will be posted, and officials are encouraging motorists to plan for alternate routes during the closure period.
