Carolina University Women's Volleyball team participated in a tri-match at their home venue on September 2, 2023. The event saw the Bruins face off against Ferrum College and Paine College.

In the first match against Ferrum, the Bruins played three competitive sets but ultimately lost with scores of 31-29, 25-20, and 25-22. SarahElizabeth Samuels stood out by leading the team in kills for the second consecutive match, achieving a total of 14. Kamra King contributed significantly with 29 assists, while Rebecca Walker recorded 24 digs.

The second match was against Paine College and marked Carolina University's first NCCAA South Regional Matchup of the season. The Bruins secured their first win of the season in this game. Kamra King again played a pivotal role with twelve kills and 26 assists. Kaylee Barriage achieved a career-high ten kills, and Rebecca Walker added six aces to her performance. On defense, Desirae Pisano led with fifteen digs.

Looking ahead, the Bruins are set to host another NCCAA South Regional opponent when Clinton College visits Williams Gymnasium on Tuesday, September 5.
