Carolina University men's soccer draws 2-2 against Washington Adventist

The Carolina University Men's Soccer team faced Washington Adventist University in a closely contested match over the weekend. The game, held in Takoma Park, Maryland, concluded with a 2-2 draw.

Washington Adventist University's team, known as the Shock, took an early lead just one minute into the match. Carolina University's Luke Spillane-Davis quickly responded by scoring to equalize. The first half ended with strong defensive efforts from both teams, keeping the score tied.

In the second half, the Shock once again gained the lead with an early goal. However, Carolina University leveled the score at 2-2 when Matthew McCamley scored following a corner kick from Karell Buitendijk. Goalkeeper Joshua Wilson played a pivotal role by making three important saves during the match. Neither team managed to score further goals.

Carolina University's Men's Soccer team is set to play their next game at home against Spartanburg Methodist College on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
