Work continues on the System-Wide Sewer Rehabilitation project in Winston-Salem, with lane closures announced for specific streets. According to the announcement, "A single lane will be closed on the following streets weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, April 29." The affected streets include Fifth Street between Cherry and Trade streets, as well as Liberty Street between Fourth and Fifth streets.

The completion date for this phase of the project is "expected to be completed by Friday, May 3, weather permitting." Motorists are advised to take note of these lane closures and "are encouraged to plan for alternate routes" during the specified times.
