Census Bureau: More men than women in Salem in 2020

Of the 1,479 people living in Salem in 2020, 49.8 percent (736) were women and 50.2 percent (743) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Winston Salem Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 100. In the 65 and over age range, there were 340 females and 246 males.
