Winston-Salem & Forsyth County Arts Council issued the following announcement on October 8.

The Enrichment Center's Mission is to empower and enrich adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities enabling them to grow as individuals, live with dignity and have choices in how they fulfill their lives. Description:    Plan and implement a development and fundraising program to provide for the short and long-term needs of the organization.  This includes participation  on the Leadership Team with oversight of the Development Committee.                                                

JOB DUTIES:

·       Set annual monetary goals and budgets, according to short and long-term goals.

·       Work with Leadership to establish fundraising objectives for the organization, setting short-term and long-term goals.

·       Maintain a donor database of potential and current financial donors which include corporations, foundations, and private individuals.

·       Communicate with donors on a regular basis.

·       Assist with researching potential sources and applies for grants and public funding.

·       Oversee the fundraising process and maintaining the records of receipts and disbursements of funds.

·       Plan successful fundraising events that effectively communicate the purpose and mission of the organization.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities

·       Extensive knowledge of fundraising strategies and principles

·       Excellent project management skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Excellent Interpersonal Skills.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

·       Proficient in donor data base software

·       Collaborate skills working in a team environment.

Education and Experience

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Fundraising, Non-profit Administration or related field required.

·       Five years of proven experience in fundraising for a nonprofit organization highly preferred

Salary range:  $56K -$62K Annually
