The right southbound lane of Silas Creek Parkway, between Yorkshire and Country Club roads, will be closed temporarily on Friday, August 8. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to last until before 5 p.m. The City of Winston-Salem stated that the additional work is needed after an emergency water main break.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and consider alternate routes. To help reduce traffic congestion and improve safety for both workers and drivers, officials recommend exiting at or before Robinhood Road.
