Sewer rehabilitation project leads to road closures in Forsyth County

Work on sewer rehabilitation projects in Forsyth County is set to continue, resulting in road closures. A contractor will close certain streets on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Monday, July 14.

In Winston-Salem, Main Street between Sixth and Seventh streets, and Adams Gate Road between Brondesbury Drive and the cul-de-sac will be affected.

In Rural Hall, the northbound lane of Broad Street between Second Street and Edwards Road will also see closures. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday, July 18, weather permitting. The contractor will manage all traffic control. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and plan for alternate routes.
