A contractor is set to perform overnight cleaning of the wastewater system in Kernersville. The work will commence on Sunday, June 15, at 7 p.m. and continue until 5 a.m. the following morning. The project is expected to conclude by Friday, June 20, at 5 a.m.

The cleaning process will necessitate temporary single-lane closures on several streets in the area. These include Bodenhamer Street between Winfree and Paddison streets, Main Street between Salisbury Street and Moravian Church Lane, Salisbury Street between Mait and Dewey streets, Mountain Street between Perry Road and Helper Street, Cherry Street between Main Street and Tanyard Lane, Pineview Drive between Salisbury and Woodbine streets, as well as NC Highway 66 between Mountain and Glenn streets.
