On Wednesday, April 9, former Winston-Salem Christian High School standout Jordyn Thompson’s current college team, the Queens Royals, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Furman Paladins.

The game took place at Pepsi Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Paladins this season.

The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Patricia Wilson Field against Stetson Hatters.
