On Saturday, Feb. 22, former East Forsyth High School standout Kierston Deal’s current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.

The game took place at Love’s Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Hurricane this season.

The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3:30 p.m. at Love’s Field against Wichita State Shockers.
