Carolina University’s women’s volleyball team ended its regular season with a loss to Guilford College on Friday night in Greensboro, North Carolina. The match, held at Ragan-Brown Field House, was a rematch of their September 27 meeting, which also resulted in a win for the Quakers.

The Bruins lost in straight sets (27–25, 25–20, 25–12), despite keeping the first set close. Karli Totel led the team with nine kills and three blocks. Britney Comolli contributed seven kills. Setter Syvannah Poore recorded 18 assists and five digs. Kammi Naude added four kills and three block assists. On defense, Kai Horta finished with a team-high 15 digs as the Bruins competed through extended rallies during the first two sets.

Head Coach Chelsea Jones commented on her team’s progress: “We’ve grown tremendously since the first time we faced Guilford,” Jones said. “Even though the result didn’t go our way tonight, I’m proud of our effort and focus. We’re learning from every match, and I believe our group is ready to make a strong push in the conference tournament.”

Carolina University completed its regular season with an overall record of 21–13 and will prepare for next week’s CAC Tournament.
