The Carolina University Women’s Volleyball team will conclude its regular season with a match against Guilford College on Friday, November 7, at 6:00 p.m. The game will take place at Ragan-Brown Field House in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Carolina University enters the contest holding a 21-12 overall record and has secured the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament, which starts on November 14. The Bruins recently achieved a 3-0 win over Paine College and aim to maintain their momentum as they close out the regular season.

Head Coach Chelsea Jones has guided the team through a season marked by both balance and depth. The Bruins have accumulated 1,424 kills and 1,898 digs this year while posting a .179 hitting percentage as a team. SarahElizabeth Samuels leads offensively with 262 kills, followed by Karli Totel with 244 kills. Britney Comolli and Kammi Naudé have also contributed consistently at the net. Setter Syvannah Poore has recorded 671 assists and added 45 service aces, helping Carolina average nearly 12 kills per set.

On defense, Kai Horta leads with 515 digs. Improvements in serve-receive have provided stability during extended rallies and late-match situations.

Guilford College comes into the matchup with a record of 17-8 after winning five straight matches to end their regular season. Their offense is led by Natalie Moore with 294 kills and Madison Duvall with 202 kills; collectively, they are hitting .212 this season.

The two teams last played on September 27 when Guilford won in Winston-Salem by a score of 3-0. Since then, Carolina University believes it has made significant progress ahead of this final regular-season game before shifting focus to tournament play.
