Carolina University volleyball honors seniors during home tri-match

Carolina University Women’s Volleyball hosted a tri-match at Williams Gymnasium on Friday, October 24, featuring Washington Adventist University and Bob Jones University. The Bruins started the day with a 3–0 win over Washington Adventist, with set scores of 25–8, 25–12, and 25–20. Karli Totel led the team with a .750 hitting percentage and six kills, while Kammi Naude contributed five kills. Britney Comolli added four kills and three blocks, and Valeria Suarez served six aces. Natalia Cano provided 11 assists and two aces, and Melia Coleman and Suarez each recorded nine digs.

In the second match, Carolina faced Bob Jones University and lost 3–1 with set scores of 25–21, 21–25, 27–25, and 25–18. Britney Comolli led the offense with 12 kills, followed by Totel with 10 and Naude with seven. Syvannah Poore and Natalia Cano each had 20 assists, with Cano also contributing 15 digs. Kai Horta led the defense with 21 digs. Despite strong performances, Bob Jones secured the win with key runs late in the sets.

The event also served as Senior Night for Kammi Naude and Emma Grace Dubuc. Both players were recognized for their leadership and contributions to the program.

“It was a special day for our program,” said Head Coach Chelsea Jones. “We played some really solid volleyball, and I’m proud of how our team competed and supported our seniors. Kammi and Emma Grace have been incredible leaders for us — their impact will be felt for years to come.”

Carolina University now holds a 19–10 overall record as they prepare for the remainder of the regular season and postseason play.
