Carolina University took a moment to honor its graduating baseball seniors despite the game’s cancellation against Morris. The ceremony celebrated the dedication and achievements of these athletes who have contributed greatly to the Bruins baseball program. Surrounded by their teammates, coaches, and loved ones, it was a chance to reflect on their journeys and celebrate their future endeavors.

The senior class includes a diverse array of talent. Abdiel Santana (#1) is finishing with a Master’s in Business and aiming to follow his passion for music at the Berklee College of Music. Avery Adams (#4), with aspirations to coach and lead in business, plans to pursue an MBA and become a Graduate Assistant.

Angel Martinez (#5) looks forward to a career in general contracting, while Jovany Pedraza Mendez (#7) plans to follow the path God has for him after earning a degree in Business Administration. Chase Locklar (#9), who is completing a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Leadership, is set to begin his career in coaching.

Elias Nurideen (#10) intends to become a Forensic Psychologist after earning his degree in Psychology. Jamie Winecoff (#11) is pursuing a career with Duke Energy, with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Criminal Justice in hand. AJ Callaway (#14), anticipating his upcoming wedding, graduates in Business Administration with a Criminal Justice minor.

Elijah Carter (#15) is open to where his faith takes him after earning his degree in Business Administration and Management. Alex Noll (#20) will pursue coaching baseball alongside seeking a full-time job after graduating in Interdisciplinary Studies. Xavier Stewart (#22) leaves with a degree in Computer Science.

Kenny Cunningham (#44) is passionate about mentoring children and graduates in Business Administration. Donovan White (#55) plans to pursue an MBA at Wake Forest University after obtaining his Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Additionally, Kaleb Whitaker (#8) and Alexiel Delgado (#6), seniors honored the previous year, received acknowledgment for their contributions.

These seniors demonstrated leadership, sportsmanship, and a deep commitment to their team and the university community. As they move forward, the Carolina University baseball program wishes them success and acknowledges their lasting impact on the Bruins baseball legacy.
