These wins are significant as they strengthen the Bruins’ position in conference play and demonstrate the team’s depth and consistency. The series also highlights the program’s ongoing commitment to excellence in intercollegiate athletics.
In the first game, Carolina University’s offense produced 17 runs on 18 hits, including multiple runs scored in five out of six innings. Cameron Gribble pitched six innings for the win, striking out seven batters before Landon Johnson secured the save during Fisher’s late rally.
Associate Head Coach Logan Conklin said: “I thought we came out with great energy in Game 1 and really set the tone offensively. In Game 2, we showed toughness—finding ways to respond and finish a close game. That’s the kind of complete effort we’re looking for as we continue conference play.”
The Carolina University Bruins Baseball Team participates in both conference and non-conference games throughout its season according to its official website.
