Carolina University faced Ohio Christian University in a doubleheader on March 15, 2025, at Rich Park. The teams each claimed one victory during the event.

In the first game, Carolina University dominated with a 15-2 win over Ohio Christian. Despite early errors that allowed Ohio Christian to score in the first two innings, Carolina rebounded strongly. Ty Vespe’s solo home run and key hits by Elias Nurideen and Danny Gonzalez helped secure an early lead for Carolina.

The third inning saw Carolina add four more runs, including a 2-RBI single from Vespe. Further offensive success came in the fifth and sixth innings as Carolina scored nine additional runs. Contributions from Alex Noll and Danny Gonzalez were significant, with Noll hitting a triple among several extra-base hits.

Alex Prevost was instrumental in securing the win for Carolina, giving up only two hits and one earned run over five innings while striking out five batters. Jovanny Mendez pitched two scoreless innings to close the game.

Multiple players like Mitchell Keener and Robert Evans contributed multi-hit games, while Larkins led offensively with six RBIs from three hits including both a home run and triple.

Despite efforts from Carolina which resulted in seven runs—including homers from Alex Noll and Robbie Smith—the deficit remained insurmountable. Paxton Tucker also stood out offensively but could not change the outcome of the game where B. Williams claimed victory for Ohio Christian against starter Alex Prevost who took his second loss this season.
