Carolina maintained control throughout the second half, outscoring their opponent 41–32.
Senior Jakyiiah Willis led all scorers with 19 points and collected 10 rebounds. Dearia Page contributed 18 points and eight rebounds. Angelina Jordan added 11 points, including three three-pointers, while Janiya Mitchell scored six points.
Carolina forced turnovers that resulted in 23 points and built their lead to as much as 20 during the second half.
Head Coach Hannah Latiolais said: “Senior Night is always emotional, but I’m incredibly proud of the way our team showed up and competed for Angelina, Janiya, and Jakyiiah. They’ve poured so much into this program, and to see them lead us to a win in our final home game means everything. This group is continuing to grow at the right time as we head into postseason play.”
The Bruins are part of NCAA Division III athletics and compete in both conference and non-conference games as members of the Ohio Athletic Conference according to their official website. The program supports student-athletes in balancing academics with athletics while contributing to university sports traditions.
Carolina will conclude its regular season on Saturday, February 21, with an away game against Spartanburg Methodist scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. tip-off.
