On Sunday, March 23, former East Forsyth High School standout Bret Clements’ current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia Southern Eagles.

The game took place at J. I. Clements Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against High Point Panthers.
